In every country, it is customary to eat certain foods and dishes for breakfast, but not all of them are equally useful. In an interview with Gazeta.Ru, nutritionist Natalya Zubareva told which breakfast of which cuisine in the world can be considered the healthiest.

She recalled that the most popular type of breakfast that everyone has heard of is traditional English. But in fact, the British are usually not limited to one oatmeal, to which there are no questions. The nutritionist clarified that porridge boiled in water without sugar and not instant cooking is a great option to stock up on energy.

However, according to her, the British prefer a breakfast of scrambled eggs with ham or sausages, mushrooms and tomatoes, as well as toast with butter and jam. It has nothing to do with health benefits, the nutritionist explained.

Not the healthiest and most American breakfast: pancakes, toast and cereal with milk. They add jam, syrups, honey, fruits and so on. And one can only dream of the protein part of the diet.

Not too healthy, according to the expert, and a traditional French breakfast, consisting of coffee and a croissant or a baguette with butter and jam. And here it’s all about solid fats, sugar and fast carbohydrates in the composition, which definitely will not benefit health.

But in Switzerland, muesli is considered a traditional breakfast. A ready-made mixture of bran and cereals with dried fruits is usually seasoned with yogurt. However, it seems great only at first glance. According to the nutritionist, both muesli and yogurt are usually stuffed with sugar and sweeteners, sweeteners, preservatives and other unhealthy ingredients.

At the same time, breakfast in Turkey deserves special attention. Usually it is fresh homemade cakes and cheese, vegetables, boiled eggs, sausage, olives, jam, honey and other desserts. From drinks – Turkish coffee or tea. Zubareva pointed out that the Turkish breakfast is varied, hearty and almost healthy, if you place the accents correctly and do not lean on sausage and rolls with butter.

Traditional Russian breakfasts, consisting of porridge on the water with the addition of berries, nuts or dried fruits, are also the most useful.
