Russian leader Vladimir Putin is open to any negotiations to resolve the conflict with Ukraine. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov during the SPIEF.

According to him, Putin “was, is and remains” open to any contacts. Peskov added that the “Ukrainian problem” can be solved in different ways. “Therefore, any possible ideas, sets of ideas that are aimed at resolving this problem and ending this conflict, they are supported by Putin. Putin is leading these conversations and welcomes upcoming contacts with African leaders,” the spokesman said, quoted by TASS.

It should be noted that on June 17 the leaders of African states will arrive in Russia with a mission to peacefully resolve the conflict between Moscow and Kiev. In particular, the presidents of South Africa, the Union of the Comoros, Congo, Uganda, Senegal, Zambia, as well as the chairman of the African Union, will arrive. They will also be joined by the President of Egypt. African leaders will visit Kyiv before their visit to Russia.
