From January 1 to May 31, 3,193 Russian servicemen received payments for personally destroyed 4,415 units of Ukrainian and Western military equipment. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov.
He clarified that 45 pilots and air defense operators were awarded 300,000 rubles each for the destroyed helicopter, and 71 received money for the aircraft.
Also, distinguished fighters received 300 thousand rubles each for 15 hit launchers of the Tochka-U tactical complex and HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems. The sailors who destroyed six unmanned boats that attacked Russian ships and infrastructure in Crimea received 200,000 rubles each, Konashenkov added.
For the destruction of each of the hundreds of units of armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fighters of the Airborne Forces and units of the ground forces, as well as marines and artillery units, received 100 thousand rubles. 50 thousand rubles were paid for the destruction of 1,501 enemy armored combat vehicles, 203 self-propelled guns, as well as 85 MLRS installations, as well as the destruction of each of 1,211 Ukrainian UAVs.
In total, since the beginning of the SVO, 7,064 military personnel have received additional payments for the destruction of Ukrainian equipment, Konashenkov noted.
Earlier, Russian singers Grigory Leps and Nikolai Baskov promised to reward everyone who shot down a Western tank in the special operation zone. As the Vedomosti newspaper wrote with reference to StarHit, the reward will be 1 million rubles.
