Three former police officers who were previously convicted in the case of journalist Ivan Golunov will serve their sentences not in a colony, but in a network of correctional centers of the Federal Penitentiary Service. It is reported by RBC with reference to Golunov himself.
According to the journalist, Maxim Umetbaev, Akbar Sergaliyev – they received eight years in a penal colony – and Denis Konovalov (five years) were sentenced to forced labor in the network of correctional centers of the Federal Penitentiary Service. Roman Feofanov, who also received eight years in prison, was denied a motion by the court to replace the sentence.
