The United States has decided to provide Ukraine with a new package of weapons and military equipment worth $325 million, said the head of the US State Department, Anthony Blinken.

Blinken’s written statement clarified that it was, among other things, “critical” air defenses, additional ammunition for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, artillery shells, anti-tank systems and armored vehicles.

The official representative of the State Department added that Washington will provide Kiev this time with additional missiles for NASAMS air defense systems, Stinger MANPADS, Javelin, TOW and AT-4 anti-tank systems, Bradley and Stryker infantry fighting vehicles, 155 mm and 105 mm caliber shells, more than 22 million rounds of small arms and grenades, shells for HIMARS, explosive devices for clearing rubble, secure communications, spare parts, TASS reports.

Since the start of the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the United States has provided Ukraine with weapons worth about $40 billion, the US Foreign Ministry noted.
