In Chelyabinsk, they are investigating the circumstances of the death of a passenger on an airplane en route from Sochi, and a pre-investigation check is being carried out. It is reported by RBC with reference to the Central Interregional Investigation Department for transport of the UK.
According to the department, the incident occurred the day before, May 31. At about 3:30 p.m., a passenger born in 1977 “suddenly died” on board the Sochi-Chelyabinsk plane. Causes of death were not specified.
“Investigators are carrying out a set of initial verification measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, inspecting the scene of the incident, interviewing eyewitnesses, and preparing for the appointment of a number of medical examinations,” the report says.
The Sverdlovsk transport prosecutor’s office is also checking. The agency clarified that a passenger on a Ural Airlines flight had died. “The prosecutor’s office organized an audit of the implementation of the law in the provision of emergency medical care by airline employees,” the department said.
