Countries that are concerned about nuclear weapons can join the Union State of Russia and Belarus, and then “there will be nuclear weapons for everyone.” According to RBC, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said this in the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin.”
Earlier this week, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev drew attention to the “phenomenon” of the Union State within the EAEU structure, noting that the two countries “even have nuclear weapons for two now.”
“If someone is worried, well, I don’t think that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is worried about this, but, if suddenly, so, no one will be against Kazakhstan and other countries having the same close relations as we have with Russian Federation. And it’s very simple – everyone must join the Belarus-Russia union, and there will be nuclear weapons for everyone, ”Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian president emphasized that this is only his point of view, but admitted that the expansion of the Union State is possible: “We must strategically understand that we have a unique chance to unite.”
