From Tuesday, March 30, the personal exposition of the St. Petersburg artist Anastasia Mirre “Mirre’s Worlds. Game of metaphors. The exhibition, organized as part of the New Wanderers project, will last a week.
Deep and multi-layered in meaning and technique, Anastasia Mirre’s paintings demonstrate an unusual, metaphysical vision of the world. The author’s language is filled with allegories and symbols, allusions, many hints and semantic undertones. One of the leading places in the work of Anastasia is occupied by the theme of polarity, duality, ambivalence, struggle and unity of opposites. The artist avoids unambiguous interpretations, as if playing with the viewer, inviting him to become a participant in the creative process.

Anastasia Mirre paints mainly in oils, paying special attention to texture and texture, due to which the artist manages to convey a sense of pulsation, the breath of life and time. The combination of colorful picturesqueness, like a quivering stroke, and a clear graphic quality of individual elements and patterns is also very expressive.
Anastasia is interested in studying the genealogy of her family. Love, deep respect and awe for her family and Motherland kindle and support Anastasia Mirre’s desire to preserve her national identity, so Slavic motifs and national features can be found more and more often in her works.
Actual creative searches of the artist are developing in this direction. In her canvases, Anastasia preserves the traditions of Russian art and at the same time seeks to combine them with the trends of contemporary art.

Creating her multi-layered paintings, Anastasia Mirre takes into account and develops many factors: plot, composition, color scheme… Everything is designed to play in unison, creating a harmonious metaphorical world inside the picture, tearing beyond the frame and inviting the viewer to this fascinating action.
Anastasia Mirre was born in 1989 in St. Petersburg. In 2011, she graduated with honors from St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Engineering. Studied with Sergei Semenkov, Alexandra Speranskaya, Khalim Amirov. Anastasia is a participant in numerous exhibition projects, a member of the Union of Russian Artists (SRH), the Eurasian Art Union (Eurasian Art Union) and a resident of the Russian Gallery – XXI Century magazine.

The artist has a diploma for her personal contribution to the development of national cultural and educational projects, and in 2023 Mirre became a laureate of the international art competition “Palette of Talents 2023”. Her works are in private collections in various cities of Russia, Europe, Israel and South Africa.
