Poland is a state hostile to Russia, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov. This was reported by Interfax with reference to Peskov’s interview with Pavel Zarubin.
Peskov commented on the statement of the former Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland, Waldemar Skrzypchak, that his country is preparing for a possible participation in hostilities on the territory of Belarus, since an uprising should take place there. “Poland is a state hostile to us,” Peskov responded.
According to him, “the Polish leadership is now literally going into hysterics and Russophobia.”
“We see that this hostile state, in fact, openly speaks of its intention to interfere directly, including by force, in the internal affairs of a neighboring state,” Peskov continued.
At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that Belarus is a partner and ally of Russia.
“Naturally, the Russian Federation has obligations to ensure the security of Belarus, which we will do in the face of such an obvious threat,” Peskov added.
