In the Moscow region, an 11-year-old boy died during a fire in an abandoned barn. According to the Investigative Committee, the incident occurred on May 19 in Ramenskoye.
According to the department, the barn door was nailed shut from the outside. The boy quarreled with his friends, and they locked him in a barn.
According to preliminary data, the fire originated inside a wooden building. When the building caught fire, the boy’s friends tried to open the door, but could not, and turned to passers-by for help. By the time firefighters arrived, the child had already died.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident.
Edition “MK” shared the details of the tragedy. So, the media writes, at first the schoolchildren said that the boy set himself on fire, but then, when the police began to work with them, they pointed to a 13-year-old guy who, together with a friend and another girl, did it. It is noted that the teenagers allegedly first beat the boy, locked him in a shed, the doors of which were hammered with nails, and then went to get lighter fluid and set it on fire.
According to the publication, the deceased child was engaged in the local judo section. He is the only child in the family.
