In the Telegram channel of the blogger and founder of the Marathon of Desires project, Elena Blinovskaya, an appeal appeared to subscribers with a request to donate money to her for lawyers. Blinovskaya herself and her husband, meanwhile, are prohibited from using the Internet.
The appeal states that the court “took everything” and “left it without the opportunity to live and fight.”
“But I am, first of all, a girl and I also sometimes need support and help,” the message says. It also states that now it is necessary to pay for the work of lawyers and pay taxes.
The same message contains the details of a certain Yangaev Zair – “Blinovskaya’s assistant”. According to REN TV, it is possible that the Telegram channel was hacked and scammers are asking for money.
The TV channel recalls that this was already the case on May 16, when the blogger, “risking”, got in touch. Because of this, the Federal Penitentiary Service initiated an inspection of the blogger for violations of the conditions of house arrest.
After this message, a post was posted on the channel thanking for the support.
Recall that Elena Blinovskaya was detained on April 27 at a checkpoint in the Smolensk region while trying to leave for Belarus. After her arrest, her home was searched. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation charged her with tax evasion and money laundering on an especially large scale.
It was reported that the blogger did not pay VAT and personal income tax for a total amount of over 918 million rubles.
