Two unexploded shells from the Uragan rocket were found in the Belgorod region. According to Interfax, this was announced by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
The projectile, found near the Belgorod village of Shamino, will be neutralized on the spot, he specified.
“The shell from the Uragan missile was found by employees of an agricultural enterprise during spring field work in a field near the village of Shamino. The sappers decided to neutralize it on the spot. Now residents of nearby houses are temporarily relocated to a safe distance. The head of the regional security department, Yevgeny Vorobyov, and all responsible services are in place, ”the head of the region wrote in his Telegram channel.
Later, he informed about the discovery of another shell in the Shebekinsky urban district. “A similar projectile from the Uragan rocket was found by agricultural workers in a deep ravine between the Belgorod region and the Shebekinsky district. The sappers decided to neutralize it on the spot, having previously cordoned off the territory, ”the governor said.
