The US Treasury Department announced the expansion of the sanctions list against the Russian Federation.
Thus, restrictive measures have been introduced, in particular, against the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova, the Ombudsman of the DPR Daria Morozova and the Children’s Ombudsman of the Moscow Region Ksenia Mishonova.
In addition, the “black list” includes Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Victoria Abramchenko, head of the Ministry of Education Sergey Kravtsov, aides to the President of Russia Igor Levitin and Dmitry Shalkov, head of the State Legal Department of the President of Russia Larisa Brycheva, rector of St. Petersburg Mining University Vladimir Litvinenko.
Of the individuals, a total of 46 people fell under the restrictions.
The US Treasury also included in the sanctions list the gold miner Polyus and its CEO Alexei Vostokov, Polymetal, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Gazprom VNIIGAZ, FSUE Atomflot, as well as the Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
