In Crimea, the leaders and employees of a karaoke club were charged with discrediting the Russian army after a scandal with visitors who were not allowed to sing the Russian anthem and patriotic songs. It is reported by “Kommersant”.

According to the source of the newspaper, 1.5 tons of illegal alcohol were also seized from the club in Evpatoria.

According to preliminary information, on the night of May 15, a veteran of military operations in Syria, as well as a former member of the SVO, together with their friends, visited the Yevpatoria karaoke bar “Cho-Cho”. According to them, the institution’s staff did not allow them to perform the Russian anthem and a number of other patriotic songs. It was alleged that patrons were rudely told that such a repertoire was inappropriate for the establishment.

As Kommersant writes, a video message from the wife of a serviceman appeared on social networks after the incident. The woman emphasized that the employees of the karaoke club refused to answer questions about the support of the SVO. Later, law enforcement officers received a statement with a request to check the institution for violations.

The newspaper reports that fighters from the Wagner PMC, police and riot police arrived at the karaoke club.
