Zazu, an English breeding horse owned by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who was kidnapped from a Czech stable a few months ago, has returned to Russia. Kadyrov himself announced this on his Telegram channel.
The other day he said that Kyiv staged the theft of a horse from a Czech stable. Kadyrov said that at the beginning of the year representatives of the Ukrainian special services contacted him through intermediaries. They offered to buy Zaza out for $18,000.
Today, Kadyrov said that the operation to return the horse ended “in our favor.” According to him, while the Ukrainian side was discussing something, “his people” simply took the horse away, “without giving back the money.”
Kadyrov added that, judging by the condition of the horse, it was not looked after very well.
Recall that the Czech police reported the theft of 16-year-old Zazu in early March. According to law enforcement agencies, the thief “removed the chain with a carbine from the sliding door and took away the breeding stallion.” In total, the horse participated in 36 races, won nine of them and earned more than 1.2 million euros.
