Investigators from the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation conducted searches in the office of the private security organization “Agis”. According to RBC, citing sources, the security forces were primarily interested in documentation relating to the licensing of employees, their official powers, as well as documentation regulating the use of weapons and special equipment by them.
The interlocutor of the publication said that the employees of the TFR seized financial documentation and contracts with employees of the private security company. Investigative actions were carried out in an office in Saperny Lane in St. Petersburg.
In addition, the source added, the investigators seized documents related to the activities of the Agis company in the local department of the Russian Guard.
Recall that on the morning of May 14, the head of the TFR, Alexander Bastrykin, tried in civilian clothes and without security guards to get to the construction site of the northern alluvium on Vasilyevsky Island. Construction work at the facility is carried out by LSR Group.
However, the guard did not let the head of the department through. An hour later, Bastrykin arrived at the facility, accompanied by investigators from the local department of the Investigative Committee and OMON officers.
The next day, it became known that a criminal case had been opened against the security guards. The security guards of LLC PSO AGIS, who were at a construction site in St. Petersburg, interfered with the work of investigators, the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg reported. According to investigators, the guards “deliberately exceeded their powers” and counteracted “the legal actions of the Investigative Committee employees.”
