Almost a week later, a teenager identified herself as the mother of the newborn who was admitted to the Francisco de Icaza Bustamante hospital.

ECU911 counts 230 calls for abandonment of children and adolescents between January and October of this year. In Guayas there have been 28 alerts. (I)
