The authorities of the Tyumen region introduced a state of emergency throughout the region due to forest fires

The Governor of the Tyumen region, Alexander Moor, decided to introduce an emergency mode due to wildfires. In his video message, he explained that the regime would operate throughout the region.

Moore acknowledged that in recent days there has been a very tense situation in the region due to fires. New sources of landscape and forest fires are recorded daily. The situation is aggravated by hot dry weather and strong winds, the head of the region explained.

The entire personnel of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, more than 1.1 thousand employees of the regional fire service and Avialesookhrana were involved in extinguishing fires. In addition, 130 professional firefighters from other regions have been involved. The fires are extinguished by five helicopters, one Il-76 aircraft.

Moore pointed out that the most common causes of fire are arson, the human factor.

We add that hundreds of people extinguish fires in the Kurgan region. There, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, more than 700 people and almost 200 pieces of equipment are involved in this. Extinguishing is complicated by strong gusts of wind up to 20 meters per second and hot weather up to 28 degrees. Earlier, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported on the evacuation of residents from the Topol microdistrict in Kurgan, the suburban village of Uval, as well as a number of villages.
