The document notes that the planned figures for retail sales of alcohol and cigarettes per capita have been exceeded. This “sets new challenges for the project to promote a healthy lifestyle, as well as systemic anti-alcohol and anti-tobacco measures.”
In particular, according to the document, “an increase in the minimum age at which it is possible to sell strong alcoholic products (over 17.5 degrees) to 21 years old” can be introduced. newly created audiovisual works (music videos, series, films, video blogs, music tracks, podcasts, etc.).
In addition, municipalities may give the right to impose restrictions on the sale of alcohol on weekends and holidays. A ban on the sale of strong alcohol in stores from 20:00 to 11:00 local time may also be introduced.
According to 2022 data, retail sales of alcoholic products per capita in liters of ethanol amounted to 6.44, although the planned value was at the level of 6.22.
