The air installation was damaged after an explosion on the territory of the Ilsky oil refinery in the Seversky district of the Krasnodar Territory. According to Interfax, this was reported in the Unified Duty Dispatch Service of the district.

In turn, the press service of the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region reported that the fire had been extinguished at the Ilsky refinery.
“A message about a fire at the Ilsky refinery was received on the morning of May 5. The fire was extinguished at 9:00 Moscow time before the arrival of the EMERCOM of Russia units on an area of 60 square meters. m,” according to a press release.
It is noted that, according to preliminary data, there were no dead or injured.
The operational headquarters of the region announced the evacuation of refinery employees. “There are no casualties. There is no threat of air pollution,” the report says.
To extinguish the fire, 19 pieces of equipment and 51 people were involved.
Earlier this week, it was reported that a tank with oil products caught fire at the Ilsky refinery. As Interfax was told in the emergency services of the region, the fire at the plant occurred as a result of an attack, presumably, by three drones.
“On the night of May 4, in the village of Ilsky, on the territory of the local oil refinery, three explosions occurred, presumably by drones, the wreckage of which was soon discovered,” the source said.
He noted that as a result, one tank was destroyed, the second one caught fire.
