A large-scale fire in the village of Uspenka, Tyumen region, is extinguished by more than 200 people and 50 pieces of equipment. This is stated in the message of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The ministry clarified that the rescuers are protecting residential buildings and outbuildings, their work is complicated by strong gusty winds.
Data on the dead and injured have not yet been received.
It is known that as a result of the fire, 13 residential buildings and outbuildings burned down. Social institutions were evacuated – the Assumption Nursing Home and the Assumption Orphanage, the evacuation of the villagers is underway. According to updated data, 360 people were evacuated from social services in the village of Uspenka, Tyumen Region.
As stated in the regional department of the RF IC, in connection with the fire, an inspection was organized for signs of negligence (Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
In turn, according to the regional authorities, the supply of electricity was limited in the village of Uspenka so that the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations could safely extinguish the fire. “Reserve sources were sent to supply electricity to water towers to fill fire trucks with water and to a temporary accommodation center for evacuees,” the statement said.
