37-year-old Kirill Chubko and 19-year-old Tatyana Mostyko, detained on suspicion of involvement in the disappearance, confessed, the department of the RF Investigative Committee for the Krasnodar Territory reported.
Three previously convicted men were detained in Krasnodar, Tikhoretsky and Apsheronsky districts of the region. They confessed to the crime they had committed.
The video, distributed by the regional Investigative Committee, shows the detainees and footage from the place of investigative actions. “We cut a guy and a girl, I can show you where it is,” one of the detainees said.
“Seeing a man and a girl standing alone on the highway at night in a foreign-made car, the suspects decided to kill them in order to seize their money and other valuables. Realizing their plans, they attacked the victims and took possession of cash and bank cards, gaining access to the possibility of conducting banking operations on them, ”the message of the regional Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation says. After that, the bandits withdrew money from credit cards, dealt with their victims, buried the bodies and burned the car.
The body of a man has now been found, the remains of the girl are being searched.
Fellow animators Kirill Chubko and Tatyana Mostyko disappeared on April 28 when they were returning home from the event. Chubko called his wife and said that the car had a tire puncture, and later that they managed to meet people who were ready to help them with repairs. After that, the connection with the man was interrupted. In the morning, Chubko’s wife managed to contact the girl. However, she answered questions in monosyllables and inappropriately. Later, her phone went silent.
