A seven-year-old boy died, three adults were injured in a collision between a Renault Duster car and a road train and a Daewoo Nexia car on a road in the Totemsky district of the Vologda region. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.
“Today, at about 15:20 Moscow time, a traffic accident occurred on the 104th km of the Chekshino-Totma-Nikolsk-Kotlas highway in the Totemsky district, as a result of which one person died and three were injured,” the report says.
It was preliminary established that a Renault Duster car with a trailer driven by a 34-year-old resident of the Murmansk region drove into the oncoming lane, where there was a collision with an oncoming truck with a trailer. Then a Daewoo Nexia, which was following the truck, collided with the heavy truck trailer.
“As a result of a collision between Renault and a heavy truck, the driver of the Renault Duster and two of his passengers were injured: a woman born in 1969 and her husband born in 1957. The third Renault passenger, a boy born in 2016, died on the spot,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said. The injured have been hospitalized.
