The Manuela Sáenz district is the one that left the largest number of detainees in the last operation in the capital
With the project “I live my neighborhood without drugs” a mural delivered by the National Police in the Itchimbía sector, in the center of Quito.
This painting was part of the recovery of the public space of the El Dorado neighborhood, that they have undertaken to avoid the presence of libadores or criminals in the Julio Moreno park.
Monica Aldás, the police who delivered this project, assured that they are constantly working to recover this and several places in the area that are they had become dangerous for its inhabitants.
In the last operation called “Rayo Quiteño 1” they reported 10 detainees, 26 knives, two firearms, 139.89 kilos of drugs seized, two cars and a motorcycle recovered.
Health fairs for the Police and their families
In the same sector, police from the Manuela Sáenz district received a health fair aimed at the servers and their families.
Through these fairs it is proposed to serve the police officers, who work on the front line and many of them do not practice activities to protect their health. (I)
