MTOP and municipalities of Esmeraldas will repair rural roads in Muisne after agreement with the community

More than twenty machines from the municipalities of Esmeraldas and the Ministry of Transportation (MTOP) will give emergency maintenance to the rural neighborhood roads of the Muisne canton, in the south of the green province.

This contingent will enter in accordance with the planning coordinated with rural communities, which were paralyzed this week to request the repair of roads.

Tania Obando, governor of Esmeraldas, said that the Petroecuador Public Company and the MTOP will also give their support, in accordance with the commitment they made in the peasant assembly in Puerto Nuevo, last Friday. A meeting of the Provincial Chamber with the prefect Roberta Zambrano was also proposed.

Tomás De La Cruz, governor of the Chachi nationality of San Salvador, related that the lack of local roads prevents this community from transferring materials for the electrosol workshop. From this place, four women specialized as technicians in the construction of solar panels, in India.

The Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Resources granted authorization for the Prefecture to extract stone material from the mine in the La Vaca sector of San Gregorio, which is required for the reconstruction of neighborhood roads, in accordance with the planning of this institution.

Mayor Tairon Quintero hopes that the reconstruction of the Muisne roads will be of quality, due to the constant rains that are registered in the area almost all year round. (I)
