In Cuenca they find two bodies packed in plastic covers

This morning two bodies were found packed inside plastic covers abandoned on an alternate road in the Ucubamba sector, in the north of Cuenca.

The bodies correspond to two men, whose identity is still unknown.

According to William Egas, chief of the Cuenca Sur police district, the bodies showed signs of beatings, presumably to the head.

At first, the agents thought that the corpses were dismembered due to the fact that they were in bags, but during the survey it was noted that there were blows to the skull and blood stains.

Their arrival in the sector was to investigate the report of a missing person and they found the novelty.

A first aspect that they ruled out was that the deceased were linked to the disappearance.

For his part, Jorge Haro, provincial head of the Dinased, noted that the crime, apparently, was not committed in this place, since it would be a secondary crime scene.

The issue was analyzed with surprise by some residents of the place, who asked the authorities for support to improve lighting and surveillance in the area, since in the area lately there have been robberies of houses and people.
