The Ministry of Health supports the bill to tighten the circulation of medical alcohol, the department called it timely. According to RIA Novosti, this was stated by Deputy Minister of Health Sergei Glagolev.
The bill was submitted to the State Duma at the end of January. It restricts the wholesale sale of medical alcohol to counteract the production of surrogate alcohol. The document limits the list of persons to whom drug wholesalers are entitled to sell ethanol.
