Regional weather forecast for this Sunday, November 21 in Ecuador

Weather forecasts for this Sunday.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology issued a bulletin on showers and thunderstorms valid until November 22. Rains of variable intensity accompanied by scattered thunderstorms are expected to occur, which would be of greater intensity between November 18 and 20 in the north of the Amazon and much of the eastern mountain range.

In the Amazon region, the most frequent intense rains will occur in areas of the foothills of the mountain range, although there will also be relevant events scattered in the region. Throughout the Interandino Alley, the entire region will present rainfall of variable intensity, however, the most relevant rains will focus on various areas of the eastern mountain range foothills. Due to the high cloud cover, the temperature during the day will be relatively low on Friday 19 and Saturday 20.

This is the regional forecast for this Sunday:

Sierra region

Cloud cover will vary in the region with skies ranging from cloudy to partly cloudy, showers, and scattered rains with isolated storms to the north.

Amazon region

Cloudy sky with occasional decrease in cloudiness, scattered rains in the region with some electrical storms. Banks of fog in foothills of the mountain range.
