A criminal case has been opened against a man who helped Darya Trepova hide after the attack on military commander Vladlen Tatarsky.
According to the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg, Dmitry Kasintsev hid Daria Trepova in his apartment in the north of St. Petersburg after an explosion occurred in a cafe in the city center on April 3, 2023, which killed war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky and injured more than 40 people .
On Thursday, the Leningradsky District Court of St. Petersburg announced a decision to impose a preventive measure in the form of house arrest against Dmitry Kasintsev, who is accused of committing a crime under Article 205.6 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – failure to report a crime.
Kasintsev will spend two months under house arrest.
Earlier, the FSB named another participant in the preparation of the crime, a citizen of Ukraine and a member of the Ukrainian sabotage and terrorist group, Yuriy Denisov. According to the secret services, it was he who gave Trepova a figurine stuffed with explosives. After committing the crime, he fled abroad.
Recall that Vladlen Tatarsky was killed on April 2 by a bomb explosion hidden in a statuette, which Daria Trepova gave him at a creative evening in a cafe. A participant in the terrorist attack was detained and is in the Moscow Lefortovo pre-trial detention center.
