The Kozelsky District Court of the Kaluga Region did not accept the protocol against the military surgeon Yuri Yevich, who is accused of discrediting the RF Armed Forces. This is stated in the materials on the website of the court.
Initially, the case card indicated that the meeting was scheduled for April 18. Today the data has been updated, in the column “Preparing the case for consideration” it says “Returned without consideration”.
According to RIA Novosti, the chairman of the Kozelsky district court, Sergei Gruzdov, explained that the protocol was returned to eliminate shortcomings.
Recall that the protocol under the article on discrediting the army in relation to Yevich was drawn up after his open lecture for the employees of the National Guard on Sakhalin. This caused a wide public outcry. The field surgeon, a veteran of the Donbass and special operations, stood up, in particular, the governor of the Kaluga region Vladislav Shapsha and Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far East Yuri Trutnev. The latter even stated that he was ready to pay a fine instead of Evic if the court found him guilty.
