In the Vyborgsky, Moskovsky and Frunzensky districts, raids will be held to identify violations of parking rules in the yards. This was stated by the Acting Head of the State Administrative and Technical Inspectorate (GATI) Alexei Gerashchenko.

The first raid will take place in the Vyborgsky district – it is listed among the leaders of such violations.

According to Aleksey Gerashchenko, now GATI transmits information about traffic violations in the yards to the regional departments of the State traffic inspectorate, however, in order to ensure comprehensive control over the situation in the intra-quarter territories, it was decided to organize joint raids with the traffic police.

GATI sends proposals to the improvement committee, district administrations and local governments on the improvement of territories – somewhere it is necessary to install fences so that cars do not drive onto the lawn, somewhere it is necessary to expand intra-quarter driveways, somewhere – to create additional parking spaces.

GATI has already sent about 300 such proposals, on the basis of which landscaping was completed last year at 183 addresses, another 32 addresses are planned for the current year.
