Kyiv has changed some of its military plans due to the leak of secret Pentagon documents, CNN reports, citing a source close to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The channel notes that from the “leaked” documents, allegedly related to the period from mid-February to early March, it follows that the United States is spying on Zelensky. In addition, CNN recalls a US intelligence report that claims that the Ukrainian leader at the end of February “proposed to strike at the places of deployment of Russian troops in the Rostov region of Russia” using drones, since Ukraine does not have long-range weapons.
Another report said that China could use Ukrainian strikes on Russian targets “as an opportunity to portray NATO as the aggressor” and “may increase its aid to Russia if it considers the attacks significant,” The Washington Post also wrote.
Recall that the Pentagon documents were leaked last week by The New York Times.
