With a lack of B vitamins in the body, the condition of the skin and muscles worsens, cognitive functions weaken. Doctor Victoria Agaltsova told the Moscow agency about this.
According to her, B vitamins are vital elements that the human body needs to receive in combination because of the existing relationship between these substances. The lack of each vitamin B causes the appearance of certain negative symptoms, but in general, their deficiency, both individually and together, is associated with the appearance of signs of aging (and often prematurely), the doctor warned.
She also listed the signs of aging caused by a lack of B vitamins: skin aging, pigmentation; muscle weakness; neurological disorders; arrhythmia; breathing problems, shortness of breath; deterioration of cognitive functions; loss of appetite and weight; sleep disorders; hair loss; unpleasant body odor; fatigue; psychoses.
“The deficiency of these substances can be overcome by eating certain foods. These are, for example, yeast, bakery products, wholemeal flour (B1), greens, fruits, eggs (B3), meat, fish, nuts, legumes (B5), kidneys, liver, cereals (B9), animal foods, including by-products and fish (B12),” the expert advised.
