Former US President Donald Trump called his formal detention on April 4 “an incredible experience” and said that it had a positive effect on his rating.
On his Truth Social account, Trump wrote that Tuesday, when he was “arrested for no reason at all,” was “perhaps the best day in history for someone who was charged with an unfounded charge.” The politician also noted that his ratings “have never been so high”, and managed to raise $10 million for the election campaign.
The poll showed that Trump was the most popular Republican candidate in the 2024 election among party supporters, his popularity up 10% in two weeks.
Recall that the ex-president of the United States is accused of forging business documents in the first degree in order to conceal compromising evidence and illegal activities, the charge contains 34 points. Trump pleaded not guilty. After the court session, he returned to his residence of Mar-a-Lago in Florida. The next one is scheduled for December 4th.
