A seventh-grader who attacked two classmates with a knife in a rural school in Bashkiria was under the control of a teacher-psychologist. This was reported to RIA Novosti at the Ministry of Education and Science of Bashkiria.
Earlier it became known that at school number 2 in the village of Iglino, a 13-year-old girl stabbed two classmates with a knife. It was also reported that the lives of children are not in danger. The incident is being investigated by the district authorities, the school and the police.
As told in the regional prosecutor’s office, the incident between the girls occurred after the conflict. The working group of the State Assembly of Bashkiria on the issue of preventing cases of bullying in children’s groups also joined in checking the situation.
The Ministry of Education and Science of the republic told the agency that they had created a commission to identify the causes of the incident. It turned out that the schoolgirl who caused the damage was under the control of a teacher-psychologist of a general educational organization. During the school year, preventive measures were taken with her. The department promised to analyze the activities of a teacher-psychologist.
