In Cheboksary, the concert of the singer Diana Arbenina and the rock group Night Snipers, which was supposed to take place on April 14, was canceled. It is reported by RBC with reference to the city administration.
“The concert of Diana Arbenina and Night Snipers, scheduled for April 14 at the Cheboksary Arena Ice Palace, is canceled,” the message says. The corresponding notice has already been sent to the organizer of the event.
At the same time, the concert remains in the schedule on the site of the rock band and you can buy a ticket for it.
Earlier, in the Telegram channel of Cheboksary Mayor Denis Spirin, a message appeared from one of the users who asked, “why in the city <…> there will be an artist who opposes the CWO.”
On February 9, the Night Snipers concert was also canceled in the capital of Buryatia, Ulan-Ude. The reason for the cancellation was not given. Spectators who planned to attend the event were told the cancellation was due to a re-evaluation of seats.
In 2014, Arbenina’s concerts were canceled in several Russian cities after she performed in Kyiv. Then the singer said that this was due to her political position. In April 2022, she presented the song “Don’t Be Silent” criticizing the military actions.
