The number of independent travelers who prefer to plan their own itinerary and pay for accommodation directly has decreased. So, according to the statistics of air orders from OneTwoTrip, at the moment, 9.5% of bookings for the summer of 2023 are made from St. Petersburg, which is 28.6% less than in January-March of the previous year. Sochi turned out to be the most popular destination among residents of the northern capital, accounting for 25.5% of all summer bookings. Makhachkala took second place with a share of 8.4% of Petersburgers, and Kaliningrad took third place with a share of 8.3%.
