The security forces searched the apartment of a resident of St. Petersburg, who is suspected of being involved in an explosion in a cafe where military commander Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomin) died, RBC reports citing the Fontanka publication.
The apartment is located in the Pushkin district of the city. Portal 78.ru reported that the search was carried out by riot police and the FSB. According to Fontanka, after some time a woman was taken out of there – presumably the mother of the suspect, who was taken to the department. The procedural status of the woman is not clear.
The suspect was not in the apartment. “Fontanka” claims that they continue to search for her “Interfax” late in the evening reported that the girl was detained. According to media reports, we are talking about Daria Trepova, born in 1997. The investigation believes that she brought to the cafe a box with a bust of Tatarsky, in which an explosive device was mounted.
There is no official information about whether Trepova is a suspect and where she is now.
The explosion occurred on the evening of April 2 at the Patriot bar on Universitetskaya embankment, where Tatarsky’s creative evening was taking place. The military commander died, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, 30 people were injured, 24 of them were hospitalized.
