The planned launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle with a constellation of satellites as part of the US Space Force Tranche 0 mission has been postponed again, the company reports on Twitter microblogging (blocked in the Russian Federation at the request of Roskomnadzor).
Initially, the launch was scheduled for March 30 from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, but at the last moment the launch of the launch vehicle was interrupted. SpaceX said the rocket and its satellites were “in good condition,” but did not give a reason for the cancellation.
At the same time, the Space Development Agency reported that the next attempt would take place on March 31.
On March 31, the SDA announced that the launch had been postponed again. SpaceX, noted in the agency, is working on a solution to the problems discovered during the launch attempt on March 30. The next launch was scheduled for April 1st.
Now SpaceX has said it plans to launch the launch vehicle on April 2nd. “If necessary, a fallback opportunity is available on Monday, April 3,” the message says.
