After several hours of the kidnapping of two young people in Manta, the Ministry of Government confirmed this Thursday afternoon that one of them is the daughter of José Adolfo M., alias Earn, detained in Guayaquil.
Alias Earn He is one of the leaders of the Los Choneros gang, who control part of the pavilions of the Litoral Penitentiary. He is detained at CPL Guayas 1.
The young women, Cosmetology students, aged 19 and 21, were kidnapped on Wednesday night in the Los Gavilanes neighborhood, a peripheral sector located southwest of Manta, outside a beauty treatment center.
Witnesses indicated that around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday there was a kidnapping outside the premises of this place.
The Ministry of Government indicated this Thursday that once the fact was known, specialized personnel from the Anti-Kidnapping and Extortion Unit began intelligence and investigation work in the search for the young women.
Following the incident, ECU911 was notified. A few minutes after the kidnapping, it was learned that a vehicle, which the kidnappers allegedly used to kidnap the young women, was abandoned and burned on the San Mateo-Santa Marianita road, in the rural area of Manta and about seven kilometers from where the kidnapping occurred.

Through publications on social networks, friends and relatives of the two kidnapped girls asked for help from the public to find the whereabouts of the kidnapped women.
The ads with the photos of the young women and their names began to circulate this afternoon in nearby Facebook and WhatsApp states.
