The authorities of the Tula region said after the drone explosion that they would take additional measures to protect the population and critical facilities in the event of a deterioration in the operational situation. According to RIA Novosti, after the incident with the drone, the regional governor Alexei Dyumin held a meeting of the operational headquarters to eliminate the consequences of the explosion.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin introduced a high alert regime in the region. In the event of a deterioration in the operational situation, additional measures will be taken to protect the population and critical facilities, the regional authorities assured.
Recall, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian side tried to attack with a Tu-141 Strizh drone in shock performance, but its navigation system was disabled by the Pole-21 electronic warfare system.
The regional Ministry of Health reported three affected residents. As a result of the incident, ten private houses were damaged, windows were broken in six apartment buildings.
