Residents of Russia called St. Petersburg the festival capital of the country. Among those that the respondents remembered most often were VK Fest, “Invasion” and “Wild Mint”, reports “KP”.

The participants also noted that VK Fest, the leader in all respects, meets the main needs of the audience: favorite artists perform there, modern and relevant music sounds. This festival is also included in the group of festivals that respondents are ready to recommend to friends and acquaintances.

In addition, a study conducted across Russia showed that residents of St. Petersburg were the most likely to attend music festivals over the past three years. They were least attended by respondents from cities with a population of up to 100,000 people – such events are rare there, and it is more difficult for local residents to get to large festivals.

It also turned out that respondents from all cities have a growing interest in musical events. The average age of festival goers is about 34 years old. Mostly they are family people with children, with an average income level.
