The tragedy that killed the founder of Cream Soda, Dmitry Svirgunov (Dima Nova), occurred when a group of young people were dancing on the ice of the Volga, MK reports.
The material notes that over the weekend Dmitry Svirgunov gathered friends to celebrate his birthday: on March 11, he turned 35 years old. The party was held in a house in the village of Dievo-Gorodishche on the banks of the Volga, bought by the musician during the pandemic.
According to tradition, young people went across the frozen river to the village located on the other side. At the moment when they were dancing about halfway through, the ice cracked.
Under water were Dmitry Svirgunov, his 25-year-old brother Roman Svirgunov, Georgy Kiselev, Valeria Derman and Aristarkh Ukhtomsky. The girl was saved by friends who did not fall into the rift. Ukhtomsky, clinging to the edge of the ice, was pulled out by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, but he died of hypothermia.
According to RIA Novosti, citing a law enforcement source, the body of Dmitry Svirgunov was taken out of the water. The identification procedure has already been carried out.
