A resident of Bashkiria was suspected of killing a drinking buddy and trying to get rid of the body, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
According to the department, eyewitnesses found the body of a man with his feet tied on the road in the Dyurtyulinsky district. Investigators found out the identity of the deceased, he turned out to be a 51-year-old resident of the village of Semiletka. After examining the CCTV footage, it was determined that the body was dragged on a cable behind the car. The alleged criminal, a resident of the village of Sukkulovo, was detained.
According to preliminary data from the investigation, the 51-year-old victim came to visit a new acquaintance, a 45-year-old resident of the village of Sukkulovo. The men drank alcoholic beverages, in the process of drinking they quarreled and the owner of the house stabbed the guest several times in the neck with a knife.
Deciding to get rid of the body, the man tied the victim’s legs, wrapped her in film and tied her with a cable to his car. After that, he headed towards the local cemetery, where he wanted to hide the dead man in a fresh grave. As clarified in the department, along the way, the home-made cable came off and the attacker did not reattach it to the car, but left the deceased in the middle of the road and drove home.
The SUSK of the Russian Federation in Bashkiria said that the detainee was charged with murder. It is noted that the man confessed to his deed, but explained that he did not remember all the circumstances and causes of the conflict. Currently, initial investigative actions are being carried out, a complex of forensic examinations has been appointed, and witnesses are being interrogated.
