The Investigative Committee has launched a check against a police investigator in the Simferopol region who hit the accused on the head with a glass bottle during interrogation. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Main Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for Crimea and Sevastopol.
“It was established that on February 28, during the interrogation of a 28-year-old citizen who is accused in a criminal case of a series of fraudulent actions, a police investigator in his office hit him several times with a glass bottle. After the end of the investigative actions, the man went to a medical institution, where bodily injuries were recorded in the head and forearm, ”the message says.
A procedural check is being carried out on the fact of the infliction of bodily harm by the investigator of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the subject of the presence in her actions of signs of a crime, provided for in paragraph “a” part 3 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Exceeding official powers with the use of violence.” As part of the audit, a forensic medical examination is carried out.
