Employees of the investigating authorities of Sochi are investigating the circumstances of the death of a one-month-old baby.
According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, the child was taken to the hospital by the parents, but the doctors only had to state his death – the baby died on the road.
“According to the investigation, due to the baby’s prolonged refusal to eat and the deterioration of his health, the parents independently decided to deliver the child to a medical institution on March 8 of this year, but the child died before he was delivered to a medical institution,” the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnodar region.
The exact cause of the child’s death will be determined by the results of a forensic medical examination.
As KP notes, the baby’s father is blogger Maxim Lyuty, who promotes a raw food diet and is an adherent of prano diet – nutrition with the energy of the sun.
According to Kommersant, a criminal case is being investigated on causing death by negligence to an infant (part 1 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
StarHit reports that the baby was born during a home birth. Currently, his father has been placed under house arrest, his mother is under house arrest. It is noted that the family previously lived in St. Petersburg, and moved to Sochi a year ago.
