The Council of Deputies of the Municipality “Narodny” refused to apply to the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg with the initiative to repeal the law on the integrated development of territories (CRT).
According to ZAKS.Ru, the issue was included in the agenda of the meeting at the initiative of local residents. The initiative was initiated by a self-nominated deputy Galina Bachmanova. She said she received more than 160 requests to repeal the law. According to the deputy, the property rights of St. Petersburg residents may be violated during the implementation of the KRT program. According to the Mundep, about a million owners of real estate in Khrushchev apartments may fall under the law, while there is no guarantee of a decent payment in return for old housing.
The meeting was attended by Deputy of the Legislative Assembly from United Russia Anton Rudakov and drew the attention of the audience to the fact that some provisions of the law have been suspended, and now not a single house in St. Petersburg can get into the program. United Russia also recalled that the city authorities are working to improve the law on KRT.
Members of the Public Headquarters under the Legislative Assembly Tatyana Atanasova and Igor Klenov also came to the meeting. The latter said that for six months of work, the headquarters could not achieve any significant success in improving legislation. He believes that it is necessary to cancel the current law and adopt a new document that would take into account the opinion of St. Petersburg residents.
The last to take the floor was the head of the Bushin municipality. He refused to support the initiative, despite the fact that he, like many others, “has questions” about the law. He offered to send comments and suggestions to Rudakov so that he could use them in the development of amendments.
Three out of 13 deputies supported the legislative initiative. Six Mundeps voted against. Another four abstained.
