At a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, leading members of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs intend to express their concern about the growing role of the state in the Russian economy. This was told by Bloomberg sources. Such a meeting should take place on March 16.

According to the interlocutors of the agency, businessmen will insist on the liberalization of the business environment.

It is noted that the president intends to focus on the revival of economic growth, as well as the responsibility of entrepreneurs. It is possible that within the framework of the meeting the issue of a voluntary one-time contribution of enterprises to the Russian budget will also be discussed.

Recall that earlier this idea was expressed in the government.

The businessmen participating in the meeting, for their part, intend to focus on the influence of the authorities on the economy, as well as insist on measures to liberalize the business environment, the agency writes. So, for example, we can talk about the abolition of criminal prosecution for certain economic crimes.

As Kommersant clarifies, this could be the first meeting president and entrepreneurs since the beginning of the military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
