Men most often associate International Women’s Day with a holiday and spending. According to RIA Novosti, this is evidenced by the research data of the SuperJob service.
“Men more often associate March 8 with a holiday and waste, women with spring, sun, good mood and bouquets,” a survey of 1,600 respondents showed.
The most important thing on this day is the holiday of the fair sex, every fourth is sure. Every tenth March 8 is associated with beloved women: the second half, mother, daughters, girlfriends. For 6%, this day is associated exclusively with joyful events. Also for 6% it is a regular day off. Another 6% called March 8 an extremely costly day.
Flowers are one of the main associations with the spring women’s holiday, and tulips are in the first place in popularity (52%). Mimosa has twice as many votes (26%). In third place are roses (11%). Moreover, the fair sex was much more likely to mention tulips and mimosa as the main flowers of International Women’s Day, while men more often called roses.
