Three employees of the passport and visa department of the police of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic died as a result of sabotage committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. This was reported by “Interfax” with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the unrecognized NKR.
According to the department, three people were killed and one person was injured.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the unrecognized NKR reported that this morning a sabotage group of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire on the duty car of the passport and visa department of the police. Then there were data about one dead and one wounded.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, however, announced a military provocation by Armenia in Karabakh. The ministry indicated that on the morning of March 5, in order to verify the information received, the units of the Azerbaijan Army made an attempt to stop and check the vehicles that carried out “illegal military transportation.”
The Ministry of Defense added that fire was opened from the side of the enemy, as a result of the exchange of fire on both sides there were victims and wounded.
Baku believes that the entire responsibility for the “provocation” lies with the “military-political leadership of Armenia.”
